Civil Service Men’s Volleyball Team make it 6 out of 6 and stretch their lead to 7 points in N.Irelands top League with a 3 - 0 win away to Ballymoney Blaze at Delriada last night. This proved to be a tough test for CS with 2 of the 3 sets going to the wire.

Team spirit was very much evident in this performance with strong front court and controlled back court play, with every member of the CS eight strong squad playing their part in this important win. The CS Team was :-

Our next match is on Thursday 13th December against second placed team Portadown Aztecs Old Boys. This should prove to be a very exciting and competitive match, so come along and show your support.

NICSSA Regional Volleyball Event

Calling All Civil Servants

Are you interested in representing NICS at the National Volleyball Festival held at Loughborough University in March 2008.

If so please contact Jim Doherty (CSSC Regional Coordinator) at jim.doherty@dfpni.gov.uk for further details.

The regional qualifying event will be held at Lisburn Leisureplex in February 08. A team of varying abilities will be selected from this to represent NICSSA at the National Festival.
